In our effort to provide one-stop-shop performance solutions for the cars we love, Angry Ass opted to carry Moosehead Engineering upper control arm bearings - because we can’t build these any better than Paul does. With over 200,000 miles on our personal cars with Mooseheads installed, we recommend this product for all chassis as a well-balanced upgrade for the enthusiast driver - and one you only have to buy once! Oh and they’re made right here in the USA!

As wear develops in the bearing race over thousands of miles, the design allows the races to be tightened to remove the play unlike those using a fixed race unit (the competition). And when the ball joint at the wheel end of the arm is used up, the Moosehead UCAB can be easily pressed out of the control arm and pressed back into a replacement arm thanks to its steel outer housing. Compared to other bearing options that use a knurled or splined aluminum housing that once its pressed in is used up due to deformation, the Moosehead UCAB can be used again and again.

Also unlike pure race alternatives, Moosehead bearings are a hybrid spherical bearing. The ball is made of nickel-plated steel, and the races are made of a high performance polymer. This design balances increased performance with comfort and longevity for the street, a tricky balance executed expertly here.

NOTE: Depending on current stock, arms with pressed in bearings have a 5 to 10 business day lead time. We currently are recommending Meyle HD arms due to quality issues with Lemforder arms since they’ve moved production to Malaysia.

  • Pre-greased, assembled control arm bearings ready for you to press into the control arms of your choice. Or let us do it in Meyle HD arms.

  • Spacer washers (Required on either side of bearing)

  • Loctite 243 (For set screw if desired)
