The secondary air injection system on the S38B36 and B38 engines is a common pain point for those looking to improve performance and reliability on track vehicles. Intended for track use only, we’ve developed delete plates with or without hardware and gaskets to eliminate the injection rail on the headers; or take it a step further by adding in our A/C compressor tensioner assembly which replaces the heavy and failure prone secondary air injection pump, while maintaining tension on the A/C compressor belt (track cars get hot too!).
For those who wish to return their car to an OEM configuration this kit is composed of completely reversible bolt-on components (available separately).
